Living in Taichung is truly relaxing and enjoyable. Everyone here is so friendly to us. Today, while dining at a local market, we met a family of four. The siblings, about three or four years old, were very cute and eagerly started a conversation with us. Their father was also very friendly, and upon learning we were from Hong Kong, he became quite chatty.
As we chatted, the little brother tried to mimic us, attempting to join our conversation. The father then told the kids, "The adults are talking; you shouldn’t interrupt. You don’t understand our topics."
I looked at the little brother and asked, "What would you like to say? Is there something you can teach me? Thank you."
I was thinking, with today’s rapidly advancing technology, kids in just two or three years will understand far more than we did at their age. It’s always good to learn from them.
