Residence permits were received via registered mail, and we still remember the day we received the mail - we were truly overjoyed. Immediately, we booked our flights and secured a quarantine hotel.
Next, we had to arrange for the shipment of our luggage. We had already contacted an international logistics company for this. We sent the goods two days before our flight.
We had a total of fifteen boxes of items, mostly my wife’s clothes and shoes. I didn’t have many things. Anyway, as long as I have my wife with me, that’s all I need.
Then, it was time to prepare our carry-on luggage. It felt like we were embarking on a very long journey.
Finally, on the day of departure, we arrived at the airport well in advance. We underwent a virus antibody test. We waited for about an hour, which felt really long. In the end, everything went smoothly, and we boarded the plane with peace of mind.
